Along with this most excellent day, we were fortunate enough to catch 2 lake trout, and had 3 misses, which I'm sure were brown trout, because they were on the surface. All fish were caught from 7 am. to 10 am. I wish we were able to stay longer, but to enjoy the rest of the beautiful day, we decided to play 18 holes of golf. I wish we could have these kind of days all the time, but it really makes you enjoy the ones you do have. GOOD LUCK to everyone else on the lake. If you would like to e-mail feel free anytime

Type of bait: shinners
Water temperature: 42 degrees
Species: Lake Trout
Size: 1 small (16") laker on jig. only fish caught.
Total caught: 1
Comments: 3 missed hits on drifted shiners, at est 15' down at various depths. Laker caught at 110' bottom- laker was very skinney. Is there a forage/alewife problem? Many boats out, especially in deep trough area going towards back-end of lake. I need to learn downrigging. Slow action for me but great to get-out. Will concentrate on Pike at Spruce Run and Farrington during next few weeks.

Got to Lebanon Bait & Sport at 5:30 , left at 6:30 when I saw no signs of life. Went to R.V. Bait & Boat and got 2 dozen shiners. Hit the water from 7 till 10am. Didn't catch anything but it was nice to get out and make sure evrything still works. Double anchored and didn't see any good signs. Left at 10:30am and counted 52 boat trailers in the parking lots. Picked up some trash in the parking lot, said some HELLO'S, and came home.Thanx for the page Augie!, this is my first report.
