on blue/white rappala j-7 on lead core line with approx. 50 feet of line out. 18 1/2

Comments: I took Randy Guerrera fishing again today. We caught six Lakers. The largest was caught by Randy. It was 32&1/2 inches and weighed 12 pounds. (at 32 1/2" it should have weighed near 16 pounds) Randy was feeding out line when it hit so we can't be sure of the depth at the strike.

Comments: Fished from 11am-130 PM. No hits and no fish. Fished primarily for browns and
rainbows. I have heard of a couple of browns being caught that have been very thin. One
was 31inches and 5 pounds. Two others were 21 inches and looked to be shaped like pike. I
have no documentation of these fish, but was told by other fisherman. If anyone has seen
these thin fish please email me. I believe the problem of low bait population at the
valley may be more severe than anticipated. Perhaps a year of lowering the size limit on
lakers and upping the limit number on browns and rainbows to clean out the population and
reintroduce a more viable and healthier stock of fish...........
