Comments: Fished hard from dawn till noon. Thought there would be more action with the overcast sky. Have several good strikes with only one brown landed. Fish appeared healthy, and was released unharmed. Also caught 3 Small Mouths about 12 inches. I haven't caught many bass until this fall. It seems that there are more small mouths this year than years before. I target mostly trout. All in all better than working.....................

Comments: Caught 2 runts on Flats within first hour. Motored over towards South Point around noon. Recorded dozens and dozens of fish targets (75-125ft) on sonor while crossing South Trench (140 ft). Offered live herring, but couldn't get a hit. Probably the drift was too fast, or fish were just on the move, and weren't feeding. Never seen that many on the machine before.
