Comments: Had a lot of bites like 8. Missed them all. Had one on and lost him. Had the most action it seemed out of everyone. About 20 guys there, it was like opening day. It seemed guys were getting out on their boats threw a little gap on the shoreline,. I was laughing watching how bad they wanted to get out. Launch ramp cove is still frozen.
Comments: I had another day like last Wednesday (not even a BITE). But
I was not alone, I counted 15 other Guys with at least 3 to 4 rods each,
(that makes a total of about 45 fishing rods). And only 1 Rainbow was caught.
And one MAYBE hit. Must have been their day off. Launching Cove is still
ice. No boat launching yet.

Comments: My day started at 6:00 am, little did I know that the bait
shop changed it's hours to 8:00 am., with high hopes that I would find
an opening in the ice. I bought bait and went to the Cove. Thank God it
wasn't frozen. I started at the base of the Rangers Cove ramp, after and
hour and a half of nothing, I moved to the mouth of the cove. Within 3
minutes of my first cast, I had a good hit, but I was too quick and must
have spooked it. Darn! I proceeded to have 3 more hits before I finally
brought in the brown. I released it back for another day. I got two more
hits by 11:30 am, then absolutely nothing for the next 4 hours. In the
words of Arnold Schwartzenager, "I'll be back!"

Comments: The launching ramp cove was solid ice. I drove over to the
ranger cove, and I found open water there. Only problem was, the fish where
not cooperating at all. The water level is still low, like it was in the
fall. I thought they were pumping water??? See you in the SPRING. Walt
