Comments: Beth, Uncle Lyle and I went up at 2:15pm to make a day of it.  It was a slow day. One Brown caught at about 6pm on a night crawler. Didn't see any fish caught off shore by any other angers.

Comments: I got one nice 18 inch rainbow today that's all though, they weren't on a feeding spree today, I guess it must have been the rain the day before.  The water at the Valley is almost to full capacity, its looking good!

Comments: We tried trolling with shiners on Little Oscar rigs with no luck so we anchored back at the flats.  In an hour we had a dozen, some hitting 2 at a time but no keepers.  That made our day after a poor season last year.

Comments: Weather was beautiful until we got there, of course, it started drizzling and they called the boats in.  So we fished from shore, got the two and missed other hits.  Released 2 healthy looking fish. Ii guess it's back to trout fishing in streams for me.

Comments: Went out today with my brother, I had 5 hits and one fish, by brother had 2 hits and one fish. First time out this year, not a bad start. We fished the left side of the boat ramp from about 11am till 3pm.

Comments: What a great day! Just before dusk my fishin' partner and I caught 9 total browns and rainbows on mealworms!! Most were too small, but I got my limit (2) and my partner got 1 keeper.  I didnt see anyone else on the lake, it was like it was all to ourself. TIP: use a 2-3 foot leader to keep bait off bottom.

Comments: Really windy, boats were called in toward the end of the day.  It was hard to fish but I managed to get 2 rainbows and one was tagged he was only 12".  I also caught a bullhead catfish. I released all of them, they were too small.  Last weekend I got 2 rainbows keeper size (one 16" and the other 17 1/2")

Comments: Excellect conditions for fishing in the morning then turned windy at 11:00 am.  Caught one 12" laker at 110' and the 15" brown on the surface.  Had several other hits.  All in all a great opening day of trout season.
