Comments: Beth, Uncle Lyle and I went up at 2:15pm to make a day of it.  It was a slow day. One Brown caught at about 6pm on a night crawler. Didn't see any fish caught off shore by any other angers.

Comments: Went up with Uncle Lyle at 6pm till 8:30pm. We got quite a few bites only landed 2.  A few other Browns were caught by other angelers by us.

Comments: fish where not very aggressive today,most of the fish we caught today where hooked outside the mouth.It looked like the lakers where more aggravated at the lure,than the where hungy for it.We hooked and lost about a dozen more.See you on the lake.Walt

Comments: boated two lakers at 24" and a largemouth bass at 3 pounds.  bass hit rapala.  fished from 5:30am til 11am

Comments: I guess the fish weren't hungry.  Nothing we did could entice them.

Comments: I got one nice 18 inch rainbow today that's all though, they weren't on a feeding spree today, I guess it must have been the rain the day before.  The water at the Valley is almost to full capacity, its looking good!

Comments: We tried trolling with shiners on Little Oscar rigs with no luck so we anchored back at the flats.  In an hour we had a dozen, some hitting 2 at a time but no keepers.  That made our day after a poor season last year.

Comments: Started out trolling 800am...started to rain so anchored over fish...caught and released one laker...wind kicked up about 10am... off valley by 11am... by 12 noon the state hadn't stocked... feel sorry for the RVTA members who waited to help stock...

Comments: The weather was nice. We had no luck trolling at various depths, but shiners worked well. We missed a few fish but managed to catch two lakers in about 50 feet of water

Comments: Weather was beautiful until we got there, of course, it started drizzling and they called the boats in.  So we fished from shore, got the two and missed other hits.  Released 2 healthy looking fish. Ii guess it's back to trout fishing in streams for me.

Comments: Went out today with my brother, I had 5 hits and one fish, by brother had 2 hits and one fish. First time out this year, not a bad start. We fished the left side of the boat ramp from about 11am till 3pm.

Comments: What a great day! Just before dusk my fishin' partner and I caught 9 total browns and rainbows on mealworms!! Most were too small, but I got my limit (2) and my partner got 1 keeper.  I didnt see anyone else on the lake, it was like it was all to ourself. TIP: use a 2-3 foot leader to keep bait off bottom.

Comments: Really windy, boats were called in toward the end of the day.  It was hard to fish but I managed to get 2 rainbows and one was tagged he was only 12".  I also caught a bullhead catfish. I released all of them, they were too small.  Last weekend I got 2 rainbows keeper size (one 16" and the other 17 1/2")

Comments: Excellect conditions for fishing in the morning then turned windy at 11:00 am.  Caught one 12" laker at 110' and the 15" brown on the surface.  Had several other hits.  All in all a great opening day of trout season.

Comments: Fished from about 9am to 1:30pm.  First fish took a night crawler on a float.  The second took a shiner off the bottom.  Both fish took the bait as soon as it hit the water.  Also got a couple hits with my lures on top of the water.

Comments: Holy cow, caught the mother of all lakers yesterday!!  Did not have a scale, but it was near 20 lbs!! Sucked to not have a camera!  The remainder were 17-26"

Comments: First time fishing at Round Valley--Just moved to Jersey and read your reports.  Thought I'd try it out.  I had good luck!  Fished from 7:00am to 10:00am and had many bites and also saw many fish.  Two nice fish first time out isn't bad.

Comments: FISHED BOTH DAYS WITH SHINERS.HAD MOST HITS BETWEEN 60-75 FEET CAUGHT 7 IN 2 DAYS MISSED ABOUT 6 OTHER HITS.

Comments: Got 3 bands, trolled for lakers with no luck at 65-120 feet.
