Comments: What great night Fishing....We thought the wind was going to due us in, but it stopped for awhile. While anchored up we caught 3 smallmouth, 1 Largemouth, 2 Bluegills (large) 21 Rainbows and 1 Fat Brown at 22 inches, and one small curious Laker only 10 inches. The lights in the water brought in a ton of small bait fish that drove the fishfinder crazy!!...A light that was lower than the surface light, brought in larger bait fish tonight. You could see the larger trout swimming in the light, and they were hooked by lowering a worm by them. Many Rainbows were the new Kamloop Rainbows that dive and roll like lakers. All were in good shape, nice a fat fish with bueatiful colors.  Night fishing has not been that good in awhile guys...it was fun...time to go clean some trout!!

Wanted to Anchor for Rainbows at Dark but the wind was relentless after the sun went down !!..Checked the North Shore, but the mountains didn't block the wind there either...We will try again later this week!

Comments: Started out with slip bobbers in about 100 feet in the middle trench between the towers. Caught 3 lakers in about 4 hours. All were under 20" and thin, in my opinion. Interestingly, I gut hooked one of them and as I was clipping the line near the mouth, I noticed 2 OTHER leaders hanging out the side of the fish's mouth! I clipped mine and it was released OK.
I later fished the north shoreline just east of the N Point about 300 yards. Caught about 10 various panfish including a very large Bluegill that had to weight at least 1.5 lbs. in about 20 25 feet of water. It seemed the bigger ones hang out in the darker water. I also caught a 13" smallmouth on a crawdad as it previously refused all types of lures and baby crawlers. The fish kept hanging around the boat until I gave it the right bait! I then tried the south shore about 400 yards east of the south tower. The high water has caused many tree root systems to collapse, causing many more trees to fall into the water. Good future structure! Also, I saw a large, maybe 18-20 inch bass like fish cruising along the shore in about 3-8 feet of water. The fish was very, very black colored and seemed to be on a mission to get to the south rocks. It refused every lure and bait I presented, but seemed fearless and did not swim away as I tried everything to catch same. Would someone advise as
to what kind of fish this might be? The shape was bass like, but the color was a deep, velvety black, like a black molly! I followed it for several hundred yards until it disappeared as soon as it came to the rocks at the S tower.  See Ya at RV!

Comments: no trout action today so i tried the coves and got largemouth and smallmouth action. all released.    A question: I use 6 lb & 10 lb line and i was wondering if i should go lighter because all the hits come on the rods with the 6 lb line and never any on the ones with 10 lb line. email killahsin911@hotmail.com if u have any suggestions; thanks. good luck fishing.

Comments: Fished north trench anchored in 110 feet of water.  One ancor dropped off the nose to allow the boat to
swing around alot.  Works well in the windy conditions makes almost like jigging the herring the boats moves so much.
Pretty successful day caught the 7 and missed a bunch more.
