and she wanted to see the Fish.We weight it on a certified scale at 26Lbs.Yippie, I finally got a State Record, I'm still in disbelieve. At least I was smart enough to weigh it in these time, thats not what I did with the 14 1/2 Lb.Walleye I caught, I weight it and ate it :-)  See you at the Lake Walt

Size: Lakers-15, 17, 16, 15...Brownies-15, 14.5
Total+caught: 8
Comments: I'm glad I went out later than earlier...the Valley of the Green Giants was extremely crowded with sailboats and pleasure boaters, and people with small boats that did not belong out when safety issues are brought to mind. Overall, it was a perfect evening on the water. Anchored only once in about 100 ft. Brownies/Bows were enjoying livelined shiners...not sure what depth (probably around 20 ft down) Lakers were smallish.Took one bow home with me...can't be beaten for dinner. I heard that a 17 lb. laker was weighed in today at Lebanon B&T. Seems like the summer has a decent fishery this year. Bass, mostly largemouth, are stacked on the banks...shiners did the trick...herring seem to be doing nicely...next time you are at the concrete ramp, look down....decent schools of large herring hanging out there away from the trout...tight lines
