Comments:   Caught a 2-2.5 lb smallmouth on a spinner bait, 4 lb largemouth hit a 2 inch power grub. Caught a few smaller lm bass on the rubber jerk bait. Was VERY SUPRISED to only see a few bass bedding, water is cooler then normal for this late in May. Saw a lot of big bass cruisin, I guess they are confused also!! Hope to get out next weekend to, it sucks having to work all week and then it rains on the weekend. Oh well, SEE YOU ON THE WATER!!!

Comments: Fished Round Valley with downriggers for the first time. Caught a few nice rainbow trout, they were all released. Then headed for the south tower and landed a few nice largemouth and smallmouth bass. Nice day on Saturday.

Comments: Got kicked off by the white stroble light and rangers.  Lake was windy but fishable.  No way we should have been kicked off.  Lake was in no way dangerous.  Way to go state.  Never even really got to fish.  Pretty much got on the water and had to turn around and come back off.

Comments: Anchored at 7a.m. with light wind boated a couple of healthy lakers near North Tower.As morning progressed wind increased but still catching lakers.On both shiners and herring by noon time had total of eight caught and two almost boated.Anchor broke free wind was picking up decided to call it a day on the valley.

Comments: Not such a bad day for a quick two hour trip.  Cuahg these three lost two others.  Fish were biting real lightly so with the wind it was east to miss them.  Alomost all baits dropped came back up with teeth marks on them.  Heard someone got an 18 pounder in the a.m.

Comments: Took up friend Fred Sopko to fish and then assist stocking the division's fish.  Trolled all the way down the north shore with cowbells and herring trying to get a rainbow.  no hits.  9.9 not running well.  decided to pull wire with a chartruse flutter spoon on the way to the camper's ramp cove.  As soon as I hit bottom with the wire, had a tremendous hit.  Handed the rod to Freddy and he landed a 18 and 0ne-half pound laker.  Stocked and came home.  Ain't the Valley great.

Comments: bueatiful weather, but fishing was slow.  Went up with Dennis Concannon and trolled chrome 0 dodgers with herring on bottom neat south tower and at 50 foot hump.  Caught only 4 19 inch lakers.  Helped to stock club's fish including a bueatiful 23 inch tagged brown of about 7 pounds.  Ramp was a madhouse trying to get boat out of the water.  no more weekends.

Comments: My first time out with a boat. It was nice just to get out but if I don't figure this out I'm going to be coming up empty more times than not. Saw a bunch of boats by the North Tower but didn't want to crowd them so stayed closer to the shore. Then eventually drifted along North Shore. Have to get my downriggers hooked up and start using. Will try to go back this Friday.
