got a late start, fishing was slow until the
clouds and rain started around noon. then fishing was very good. Caught
five healthy Browns and lost at least five others. One 17inch fish was
all mustard gold colors with beautiful markings. Full fall spawn. All
were released unharmed. One laker also that was probably 18inches or so.
Not many boats after the weather got lousy. Wind kicked up so that the
flashers went off around 3:30pm.

Best day for Browns all year. Fish were jumping
in the boat. Could\'nt do anything wrong. Started out great with the
action ending around noon. Also managed to get 2 lakers also, that were
15 and 20 inches. All fish were released unharmed except for one that
went to the Eagle. All fish were in the full spawn coloration. Most fought
very well with a few acrobats...................

best day at the Valley all year, I mean ever!! We had a field day trolling for
lakers and browns. Used WD-40 on my lures and a new Fishfinder that uses GPS.
Everything that could go right, went right. Now have to get Abe out there so he
can catch some.
