Comments = Nice evening to fish. Drifted shiners and quickly found the fish on the top 10 feet of water. Fish all hit hard. Missed 2 others but landed 3 nice healthy fish. One had a hook embeded in his mouth which was removed. As the sun set I wated as many fish rose to the surface including something very large with a red flash to its body.

Comments = OK, I wish I had a day like Peter Geiger but I am just learning down riggers. Had 3 nock down, two of which were on my only MH 6'6"  pole, go figure? One of the nock downs resulted in a follow  up of a 20" laker, first one I ever seen. There was a 40 foot thermocline, I marked many fish there and at about 4PM I trolled at 40 ft and the bottom channel together. I was using 2 cannon HP down rigers with 4 poles and one wife. The wife wanted to leave at 6pm as it was getting colder. WHAT A TROOPER!!!!.... I fished many years on the salt with a 32 footer but I really like a smaller trailerable 16 foot better, I also get better then 3/4 of a mile per/gallon on fuel.

Comments = Bueatiful day on the valley.  Went up to state stock with fellow member Ed Guathier.  Trolled dodgers and bait near 50 foot hump and landed one 20 inch laker, then saw fish swirling on top so flatlined xmas trees with baitand lost a 19 to 20 inch rainbow right next to boat.  Lost 4 more lakers on bottom near flats in rear of lake, seems like the action is finally starting to pick up.  Disappointing amount of help in stocking efforts, only 5 boats on sunday and 4 boats on monday.
