Comments = Lebanon Bait & Boat were out of herring and large shiners, had to settle for what they call medium shiners. We were heading out of the launch cove when we realized that we had not brought our fish finder, great lousy bait and no fish finder. We anchored up in a spot that had been producing well a couple of weeks ago and did manage a few fish. The lakers fought very well unlike the rags of a cople weeks ago.I have not submitted a report since the 6th because my computer was being repaired but this is the forth bad outing since then, although I do believe we would have done much bettere if we had live herring today.

Nice day at the Valley, the action was descent in the earlier part of the day and then slowly dropped off for us at least. The Lakers were caught on the leadcore on the bottom pulling flutter spoons and the Bows and the Browns on jointed Rapalas. We caught the Browns and the Rainbows off the riggers 25 - 30 ft. down. All in all had a great time out there!!!

Comments = After much searching with the fish finder zoomed in on bottom finally located some lake trout marks. As coincidence had it Brown trout marks were heaviest right above the lakers,we double anchored on these readings and were into fish in quick order. We left them still hitting at 9 AM since we had used all of our bait, which happened to be the nicest bunch of herring I have purchased this year.Sure wish we had started with more than two dozen.

Comments = Caught 9 rainbows most had tags all were released, but one did not make it. Before he had time to swim away one of the many Bald Eagles at the valley flew down right over our boat and grabed the 14" rainbow and flew away. That eagal had the biggest wingspan I have ever seen, it casted a shadow over the whole boat. What a great day at the valley!
