            Comments = slower than the week before. Previous weel had 6 Browns between 5 18. This week only two. Slow in the afternoon right up until sunset. 

On the way in I tried the mouth of the launch cove and thats where I picked up the two browns. 

Both within 5 minutes of each other.

Gave it about an hour and had enough of that, Pulled the wire rod out and the action turned around real quick.

 Nothing huge, but at least there was action. Left there with them still on the bite......

            Comments = Trolled for browns and rainbows.  Wouldn\'t touch lures - switched to herring and began hooking up immediately.  

Caught 2 browns and one 18\" Kamloops that leaped 2-3 ft. out of the water repeatedly.  

Lost at least 6 other trout. All taken deeper than 30 ft.  Browns are starting to take on spawning colors. 

 Movement towards the shoreline should increase as water temperature drops.

Comments = one week trip to old home in northern cal at the foot of mount shasta......4 fisherman....busy all day.........I landed an 8 lb buck rainbow[not steelhead] ....everybody was hooked up....upper and middle falls

            Comments = started at noon and fished till 5:30. Fish were on the bite all day, except between 3-4pm action stopped. Then at 4:30 it started up again and I left them on the bite. 

All these fish were in full fall spawn colors and all were in good shape. These are the days I live for.
