Comments = went up with neighbor jim Farley, skim ice on
ramp cove on way out, flat calm but super cold.  rod eyes kept iceing up.
Trolled wire with a firedot spoon for 2 hours got 4 shorties in real
deep water (90 feet), then went to 80 feet off the 50 foot hump and
trolled chrome dodgers with shiners for the 2 hours.  this was a good move,
caught 4 more fish but bigger, including 2 keepers just over 20 inches,
they started hitting consistantly, but we were tired and cold so we
called it a day.  Nice, fun day at the Valley

georgeous, with basically no wind blowing. My plan for the morning was to
pull wire for Lakers. Had a ball out there with the Lakers, nothing huge
but the bite was descent, the largest 24\", several of the others were
close to that mark also. Fished with John Korn and Mike K. out there,
they also did very well with the Lakers. Another great time at the
Valley....
