a day.20 fish in three hours was the best i ever did at the valley of
the giants

            Comments = Absolutely beautiful day on the Valley!! We
single anchored in 92\' of water(it was that calm) at favorite GPS mark off
north point. With a little chumming we had lakers hitting all day-a lot
of run offs, especially with the large shiners. First fish of the day
was the smallest (19\")-all fish fought hard to stay down- the largest
fish my son caught-24 1/2\"--all fish were released.

            Comments = Started trolling in flat cam in am-lead core
program(mooselooks,Alpina diamonds, blk/silver and firetiger jointed
rapalas-very few marks and no fish caught. Tried live bait drifting, wind
was steady from the east-put out drift socks-no hits either. Decent day
yesterday-lousy day today/that\'s why it is called fishing/not
catching...

            Comments = went up with fellow rvta members Fred Sophko and
Ed Harrabin.  Trolled wire for 2 hours and caught 2 lakers and then
trolled dodgers with bait for a couple of hours.  All fish were 21 to 22
inches except one at 17. beautiful day.

            Comments = Went up again today with Fred Sophko and decided
to troll the shore line for rainbows and browns.  caught one 16 inch
Kamloops on a rogue stickbait.  Only had two hours to fish before we had
to head in to assist state in their stocking.  then had to head home. 
Weather was beautiful.

LBS. LEADER BROKE AT THE BOAT. DENNIE THEN GOT COLD & WE HAD TO GO HOME.
GUESS WE\'LL DRESS IN LAYERS NEXT TIME. IF THE LEAK IN THE TIN CAN WAS
SEALED WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT DRYER.

            Comments = ARRIVED AT THE VALLEY AND THE WEATHER WAS VERY
NICE. WENT TOWARDS THE BACK AND HIT INTO THE LAKERS IN A SHORT PERIOD OF
TIME. THE WIND KICKED UP BIG TIME AND THE WAVES WERE A BUILDING, MAKING
IT NUTS OUT THERE.. TOOK A BIT OF TIME TO MAKE IT BACK TO THE RAMP AND
A HAIRY ONE ALSO. GREAT TEST FOR THE HANDLING OF THE BOAT..... MARKED A
GOOD AMOUNT OF FISH , CAN\'T WAIT TO GET OUT THERE AGAIN NEXT
WEEKEND...
