Absolutely beautiful day on the Valley!! We
single anchored in 92\' of water(it was that calm) at favorite GPS mark off
north point. With a little chumming we had lakers hitting all day-a lot
of run offs, especially with the large shiners. First fish of the day
was the smallest (19\")-all fish fought hard to stay down- the largest
fish my son caught-24 1/2\"--all fish were released.

Started trolling in flat cam in am-lead core
program(mooselooks,Alpina diamonds, blk/silver and firetiger jointed
rapalas-very few marks and no fish caught. Tried live bait drifting, wind
was steady from the east-put out drift socks-no hits either. Decent day
yesterday-lousy day today/that\'s why it is called fishing/not
catching...

INCHER WAS ACTUALLY A LAKER. HOOKED UP WITH A
PIKE TYPE FISH. VERY LARGE & AGGRESSIVE. COULD OF BEEN UPWARDS OF 10
LBS. LEADER BROKE AT THE BOAT. DENNIE THEN GOT COLD & WE HAD TO GO HOME.
GUESS WE\'LL DRESS IN LAYERS NEXT TIME. IF THE LEAK IN THE TIN CAN WAS
SEALED WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT DRYER.

ARRIVED AT THE VALLEY AND THE WEATHER WAS VERY
NICE. WENT TOWARDS THE BACK AND HIT INTO THE LAKERS IN A SHORT PERIOD OF
TIME. THE WIND KICKED UP BIG TIME AND THE WAVES WERE A BUILDING, MAKING
IT NUTS OUT THERE.. TOOK A BIT OF TIME TO MAKE IT BACK TO THE RAMP AND
A HAIRY ONE ALSO. GREAT TEST FOR THE HANDLING OF THE BOAT..... MARKED A
GOOD AMOUNT OF FISH , CAN\'T WAIT TO GET OUT THERE AGAIN NEXT
WEEKEND...
