Trolled rattling rogue plugs along north
shoreline for rainbows and browns for an hour before we went in to stock the
club\'s fish. After stocking, we went to the edge of the 50 foot hump
and trolled dodgers and shiners. Lakers were very agressive, landed 11
between 16 and 22 inches. Had 4 keepers. Left them biteing.
Always
do well on calm, overcast days.

rainbows finally suspended. Caught two 18\" rainbows, stocked fish not
over deeper water.

First stop directly in front of North tower only
produced one hit, on slip bobber rig before the bait reached the set
depth.Reeling in afterwards I noticed a Brown of about 22\" following the
bait but he spotted the boat at the same time I seen him and off he
went.Moved closer to point and double anchored near some sparse
readings. We reset our two slip bobber rigs for 15\' and started to get action
first a 17\" Rainbow then some Browns. Finally after two hours in this
location and after chunking a couple dozen frozen herring I had a Laker
hit just off bottom. After a good fight I released this 22\" Laker.A
small Browm of about 14\" swallowed one bait and was bleeding badly from
the gills when we landed it.Usually we just cut the leader near the
fishes mouth on any deeply hooked fish, but we thought this fish would not
survive so we dug the hook out of his gills before tossing him back.It
turns out we made the correct decision becuase before we left a Bald
Eagle came swooping down and flew away with this fish. What would happen
to this beautiful bird if he would ingest a fish hook? The wind picked
up so we made one more move to the West side of the Resevoir where we
took one more Brown and a small Laker.

Started around 7:00 am & headed for the north
tower. First fish a nice 12\" smallmouth. Drifted accross the tower with
slip bobbers 20 to 25\' depth. Caught 3 browns within 2 hours, 2 15\" &
1 17\". Headed along east shore for some bass fishing. Caught &
released 6 nice bass 1 to 2 lbs. Headed in around 3:00 PM. Not a bad day of
fishing-beats going to work anyday.
