Comments = Finally I got back to the Valley after missing
the whole Spring & summer season, due to my aortic abdominal aneurysm.I'm feeling much better now and ready to tangle with some bigger
Fish. Today the Lakers were just testing my strengh with 22" to 23" Fish, but Im ready to take on the bigger Guys now :-)
We also were flatlining & jerking Flies but only
came up with one Brown after 4 hits. All in all,
not a bad Day after getting skunked 3 days in a row for Stripers. Walt

Comments = caught fish mostly in the afternoon. The morning was slow. Best between 1- 4pm. All fish were released unharmed....just a note.... usually the Browns appear in good health, I did notice that several did look thinner than usual. I hope it is because of post-spawn and not a reduction in food supply. The regulars at Round Valley may want to keep an eye on this........

Comments = Started out flatlining at the Valley in the back by the pines, 1 Laker caught on a Rapala in shallow water. Switched over to downrigging and lost a descent fish on the rigger 45ft. down over 90 ft. Had enough of downrigging, the action was basically dead, pulled out the wire rods and had descent action. Left there with them on the bite with the wire rods. First time both of us were back this year and had a good time, overall if nothings happening, grab the wire rod and you'll catch them. Lost several that felt pretty good by the North Tower.
