Comments = We haven't fished the Valley since winter-we figured Father's Day together would be perfect-AND IT WAS ! We single anchored in the middle of 3 GPS points that we have caught fish on in the past, and it proved to be the best spot of them all. We had the first laker on before the second line hit bottom ! Nothing big, but 15 minutes wouldn't go by with either a run-off or a fish hooked. We went through 2 1/2 dz herring, and the lakers would take the dead ones, the chewed ones, the live ones-we left them biting when we ran out of bait and my son's arms grew tired! We had on 4 fish at the same time a couple of times, and the day was great. Hope every other father on the Valley had as great a Father's Day as I had !

Comments = Took my father out for the first time in over 10 years. I'm not sure who was more excited when he hooked into the first of two lakers. Never saw the place so calm, and there wasn't a single boat on the water after 10pm. At dusk, water visibility was 20ft+ and at night with lights you could see the bottom in over 30ft. Best night of 2005, so far.
